A 1 MW / 2 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) deployed at a large agricultural operation to eliminate peak-demand tariff charges. The system is programmed to discharge during utility peak windows, reducing maximum demand and cutting the monthly electricity bill by a material amount. Remote monitoring and automated dispatch are managed by Nemsolar.
